I was resting with the Lord and I heard him say,
“I am raising up pillars all over the earth. They will be those who stand for righteousness in the face of intense difficulties and continue to watch for the sunrise when circumstances seem to say it can never rise again.
These pillars will be people who pour out hope rather than despair, their voices will lift with praise instead of shouting judgment and condemnation. Their hearts have been made gold, purified in my furnace of love.
The voices cry out with song, singing about my love and the tenderness of my heart. They are not swayed by events and circumstances but are standing strong, confident in who I am, knowing that my love will carry them. They are strong towers to support and tender arms to hold. In their eyes are understanding and compassion.
They have seen the ugliness of the world but refuse to allow it to steal their focus. Instead, they have opened their eyes to the beauty of my kingdom moving forward over the earth.
They encourage and lift up; never tear down or destroy. The sound of their voices shake gates that have been shut shattering the locks and flinging them open. They are full of joy and LIFE streams from their eyes.”
This is who I want to be today and every day. I want to be so overwhelmed by the love of God that it pours out of me in every way, that it makes it impossible to fall into despair or discouragement. I want my life to reflect the abundance Jesus came to bring in every way.
Paul says in 2 Cor. 4, “We do not get discouraged (spiritless and despondent with fear) or become faint with weariness and exhaustion.”
And we won’t be! We will be pillars of perfect love drawing those who need it with open arms and hearts full of light.
Let’s be pillars!
